Vous trouverez ci-bas une dizaine d’extraits sonores que nous avons captés lors de navigations à la voile dans le Golfe du St-Laurent et dans l'Atlantique Nord. Demandez aux enfants quel peut être chacun des sons. Invitez-les à écouter l’extrait les yeux fermés, et à ne lever la main pour identifier le son qu’une fois le silence revenu. Les réponses se trouvent en bas de page.

Tell them that they can listen to the sounds with their eyes closed and that they should wait until the sound is finished before they raise their hands to give their answers. RÉPONSES
1. Vagues sur une mer forte.
2. Vagues douces sur les galets.
3. Son des vagues que l'on entend depuis l'intérieur d'un voilier. C'est le son des vagues qui frappent contre la coque, en navigation.
4. Son des cordages (on les appelle les drisses), qui frappent contre le mât du bateau, avec vent en arrière-plan.
5. Petit moteur sur un zodiac.
6. Gros moteur de bateau de pêche.
7. Colonie d'oiseaux sur un rocher (macareux et goélands)
